Foster Care Fortnight: 13th – 26th May 2024

Meadows Psychology Service are excited to be getting involved in Foster Care Fortnight 2024.

What is Foster Care Fortnight?

Foster Care Fortnight is the UK’s biggest foster care awareness raising campaign, delivered by leading fostering charity, The Fostering Network. Established in 1997, the campaign showcases the commitment, passion, and dedication of foster carers in an aim to raise the profile of fostering and show how foster care transforms lives. The campaign aims to raise awareness about the need for more people to become foster carers and join a community of people who make an incredible difference to the lives of thousands of children.

‘Fostering Moments’

This year the theme is #FosteringMoments, which aims to celebrate the moments that define fostering journeys. At Meadows Psychology Service, we have the privilege of getting to know so many amazing and dedicated foster carers through the range of training courses and psychological assessment services we provide. There have been so many wonderful moments along the way!
