ABOUT US

Meadows Psychology Service is a specialist service led by experienced clinical psychologists with over 20 years’ of experience across social care, NHS mental health settings, the private and the 3rd sector.

Trauma Informed Practice

Across our team, we share our specialist knowledge of working with children and young people who have experienced developmental and relational trauma. Our expertise lies in supporting organisations to develop their therapeutic practice.

The roots of our service developed in supporting residential children’s homes to embed evidence based, trauma informed models of care and to develop psychologically informed services that meet the needs of children and young people who are care experienced. The success of this work meant that we developed a therapeutic service and team that is exceptionally skilled in working with complex systems.

Young Person A is eager to learn and progress academically and she has shown true determination over the last twelve months. With the correct level of support, namely from her current home and their therapeutic input, she has thrived. I would suggest that with this continued level of support, she will secure good grades in her final year.

Young Person A currently has stability in her living arrangement and high levels of therapeutic input from the in-house therapist and should [school] remain committed to supporting Young Person A, I am certain that she will prosper.
