
Meadows Psychology Service is a specialist service led by experienced clinical psychologists with over 20 years’ of experience across social care, NHS mental health settings, the private and the 3rd sector.
Across our team, we share our specialist knowledge of trauma informed therapeutic care, developmental trauma, adoption support, psychological assessments and training and development.
Our sister company, Meadows Care, provides therapeutic residential children’s homes and offers specialist education placements. Meadows Care evidence significant therapeutic outcomes. We want to elaborate on our specialist knowledge of trauma informed therapeutic care, grounded in our understanding of attachment and developmental trauma to providers who want to develop specialist psychologically informed services.
Meadows Psychology Service specialises in working for the benefit of children, young people and families who have experienced developmental and relational trauma. We also have expertise in assessments of more complex presentations including those of complex risk.

Psychological Support for Residential Care Providers:
We have over 20 years’ experience working within residential childcare, developing therapeutic services and supporting the set up of new children’s residential homes ensuring that there is a therapeutic foundation to the care. We have a number of experienced, accredited, psychological therapists working with providers across the country delivering a number of different services.

Training and Development:
Meadows Psychology Service offers a comprehensive range of training courses to providers working with children and young people. We also provide training on areas of complex risk such as harmful sexual behaviour and child exploitation.

Education Settings:
Our experienced team of psychologists and psychological therapists work to support a range of schools and alternative education settings across the country in establishing a whole school, trauma informed approach which promotes positive and inclusive outcomes for children, young people and their families.

Our supported accommodation service allows us to provide you with the support you need to develop trauma informed practice in your organisation and support your staff to develop the skills, knowledge, understanding and experience to work with young people who have experienced Adverse Childhood Experiences and Developmental Trauma.

Psychological Assessments and Individual Therapy
Our team of psychologists and psychological therapists are experienced in undertaking a range of psychological assessments which aim to develop an understanding of a young person’s difficulties.
We also offer individually tailored interventions for children, adolescents and families struggling with any social, emotional or behavioural difficulties that are impacting their functioning.

Adoption and Fostering Support
Our team of experts have specialist therapists trained in trauma informed therapeutic approaches that work with children and young people which have gone through the adoption or fostering process. The psychological therapists here at Meadows Psychology Service are approved by the adoption support fund.
