We are a specialist psychology service led by clinical psychologists with over 20 years’ experience across social care, NHS mental health settings and the private and 3rd sector.
Due to continued growth across the country, Meadows Psychology Service are always happy to hear from professionals that might be interested in working for our services as an MPS Consultant. We’re proud to employ a wide-ranging and skilled team; we don’t use an associate model as we want all our consultants to embody our values and work to the level of excellence we expect for a leading provider of trauma-informed service. We offer a wide-range of support and benefits for our team and place a high emphasis on CPD.
We’re particularly interested in hearing from people with existing experience of working with systems and with young people with complex presentations (e.g. CLA, LAC, CAMHS, YOT). You will have accreditation in a therapeutic approach and experience of coordinating therapeutic care. Please feel free to send your CV if you’re an Accredited Psychological Therapist e.g. Psychologist (Clinical / Counselling / Forensic), Creative Therapist (Art, Play, Drama), other accredited therapist or therapeutic social worker. We will keep your details on file and get in touch with any suitable upcoming opportunities.

Meet Our TeamMeadows Psychology Service aims to support the development of trauma informed systems and practice, through the following approaches
Building Collaboration
We work in a relational way. We place significant importance on getting to know you and your systems. Only through understanding your systems will we be able to work together to collaborate on goals to support the development of your service. We aim to empower systems to grow and develop.
Holding Space
We recognise that you, your employees, and carers work with some of the most vulnerable children, young people and families, and that this work can be extremely emotionally demanding. We will hold a containing space for you, your teams to reflect on the work you do and develop skills in reflective practice. Reflective practice is a key skill in our service to support the development of resilience, empathy and emotional connection to children who have experienced trauma. This will also support the development of understanding of the self.
Creation and Innovation
We purposely have developed a multi-disciplinary team of psychological professionals, expert in supporting systems to embed trauma informed practice. We pride ourselves on delivering creative and innovative solutions, avoiding a “one size fits all” approach. Our services are bespoke and are grounded in psychological theory, we are a responsive service so once you start working with us we will endeavour to flex to support your changing needs, recognising that no service, family or indeed child is ever static…
Meadows Psychology Service embody the following values in our work
We notice, celebrate, and magnify what is working. As well as noticing and reflecting on our own or others resources, skills, strengths and positive qualities.
We are curious and reflective about our own and others social, cultural, institutional experiences and how these shape our assumptions, interpretations and beliefs. We encourage our teams to do the same, championing an environment where people feel safe to bring their authentic selves to the work we do together.
We are compassionate and seek to understand, care, and make meaning of individual and team experiences.
We work to integrate an array of knowledge and skills in relational trauma into therapeutic work, staff training, consultation, language, reflective spaces and leadership style.
We recognise the importance of being responsive to both trauma and the needs of the individuals and teams.
